What I’m writing now
While my editorial background began at VCUarts as Senior Fashion Editor/Managing Editor at Ink Magazine (2018 - 2021), my portfolio flourished at Hypebeast where I’ve written more than 1000 articles in the span of two years. My style of writing has roots in my earlier background of trend forecasting at Future Snoops for (2021 - 2024), as well as my personal interest in cultural studies, fashion criticism, and social theory.
This recent selection of features from my latest role showcase my diverse but impactful scope. I’ve written about a visit to an Queer avant-garde home built in Queens, NY, I’ve flown to Cleveland to meet Takashi Murakami and get a first look at his show, I’ve done a deep dive on fashion’s denim nostalgia, and recently, paid a visit to Rauw Alejandro’s hotel as he got ready for the Met Gala — among many other stories.
