ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

  • I have a deep understanding of the intricacies of consumer behavior, analyzing cultural signals to identify patterns that can inform product development and strategy.

  • I have a keen eye for design trends and an innate ability to curate aesthetics that are both visually pleasing and on-brand.

  • I am truly invested in developing innovative and creative brand strategies that can set a company apart from its competitors.

  • I am well-versed in cultural engagement, with a strong appreciation for the importance of understanding and respecting diverse perspectives in any marketing or branding campaign.

My work centers around the goal of using my strong communication and analytical skills to envision a better world. Whether it's through writing, public speaking, design, or creative direction, I excel at conveying complex ideas in an understandable and creative manner that can be tailored to any audience.

With almost three years of experience at Fashion Snoops (FS), a globally recognized trend forecasting firm, I have provided consulting services, trend analysis, and consumer insights to Fortune 500 brands. My presentations have been attended by hundreds of people, and I have also provided tailored advisory services. My fascination with what motivates consumer choices keeps me in touch with the latest trends in pop culture, art, technology, sustainability, politics, and economics.

During my time at VCU, I gained extensive experience in editorial work at Ink Magazine, a nationally recognized student-run publication. I graduated as Managing Editor and had previously held the position of Senior Fashion Editor. I co-founded Chelo Chelo zine, which was awarded the Anderson's Publishing Grant, as a response to the lack of spaces dedicated to Southeast Asian creatives.

I've gained diverse experience through internships at creative companies such as Need Supply Co, Totokaelo, Jan Vincent Gonzales LLC, Berk Communications, and Fashion Snoops. My broad fashion education, diverse internship experiences, and years of editorial work have enabled me to develop a unique skill set that's informed by business, fashion, culture, and society.
